Senators Maria Cantwell and Patty Murray

Dear Senator {Cantwell, Murray}:

I'm writing to let you know that I am in favor of impeaching President Bush and Vice President Cheney. I am aware that the House of Representatives impeaches, but if you have any influence in the House, maybe with Representatives from Washington, you could use it. You could assure them that, if Bush and Cheney were impeached, you would vote to remove them from office.

The Speaker of the House has said that impeaching Bush and Cheney would be a "distraction". She is wrong. In fact, the president has admitted to serious crimes (such as violations of the Fourth and Fifth Amendments of the Constitution), so impeachment and removal from office are the most important items on Congress's agenda.
